Two flares in three months

Hi.
I'm writing here, because my mom is in the hospital again.
She was diagnosed 3 years ago and we've almost lost her. But by a miracle she got better ( even her doctors gave up) and she was doing fine. Yes, she was hospitalized for anemia, bladder infection and anemia again, but WG was under control. Then 3 months ago she had a flare and it's done some big damage to her lungs. Until then we worried only about her kidneys, but not any more. She spent a month in a hospital, had 7 plasmaferesis, 4 dialyzes and tones of IVs. Her lungs never recovered back to normal( 3 years ago they did) and she accepted it. 3 weeks ago she went to a hospital, because she could not breathe and was so weak, she couldn't walk more than a few steps. But it was only anemia and as soon as she had couple of transfusions, she was OK. Dr. sent her home after 4 days. Yesterday we took her back, because she was coughing( more than usual) and started to cough out blood. It's WG acting again and it's her lungs again.
I'm afraid, that my mom is giving up. Maybe it's because she felt so good just two days ago and that she spends so much time in the hospital. What worries me is 2 flares in such a short time. Does anyone has a similar experience?

If you have WG, may God gives you strength and will to fight it every day.
If you have someone with WG, God bless you for your patience. Sometimes it's not easy to be there for them. I know. I'm the one, that mama calls, when there's something wrong and I have a little baby to take care of too. Sorry if I'm too long. Best wishes to all of you.
