My hubby's employer is offering a Flex spending account where you pay for your medical expenses with pre-tax dollars. The trick is that you have to guess-ti-mate what you anticipate what you will spend on your medical and dental in a year, at the beginning, or else you loose what you didn't spend. The upshot is that your take home checks are larger. We are going to conservatively try $2,000 for the first year that we try this. H-ll, I could use that in one week with a flare! I am going to be positive though and assume it is going to be a good year.
